Drifter Jack Tournament RSVP April 17-19

Alright crew—here’s something wild we’ve been cooking up…
We’re putting together a Drifter-style Jack Crevalle Tournament + Fishing Trip. Think: big eats, aggressive topwater hits, and heavy lines. This isn’t a trip for picky tailers—it’s for those who want to throw flies and watch chaos erupt.
The cost for the Tournament Entry will be $250, and covers the Friday night Captains Meeting, Saturday Night Dinner & Social, and the Sunday Night Final Ceremony.
The Goal is to make this weekend as accessible to members as possible.
We will NOT be covering lodging, breakfast, or lunches.
We have guides on standby for those interested. You and whoever you share the boat with will have to cover day rates. 2-3 people per boat is standard. You are welcome to bring your own boat if you would like.
If you are in, please let me know ASAP.
We will be sharing more information soon.

Every spring, something wild happens on Florida’s east coast. As water temps warm and baitfish schools start pushing north, huge schools of Jack Crevalle begin migrating up the beaches and into the Indian River Lagoon system—and April is prime time.
These aren’t your average canal jacks. We're talking 30+ pound bruisers cruising just outside the surf line or smashing mullet in the backwaters. It’s aggressive, visual, explosive fishing. You’ll see them busting bait on the surface, and when they’re fired up, it’s a full-blown demolition derby.
They’re a perfect target for topwater plugs, streamers, poppers, or even big baitfish flies. And when they eat—they eat hard. No subtle sips. Just violence and torque.

My "write an answer" - trying to space out PTO between trips. So debating if I can swing this in addition to Xcalak in March, in addition to other Drifter trips I'm targeting on the calendar. Right now I'm 90% likely on this one. Going to try and make it all work.
