How a beer run turned into 100 rods to Andros. Read the full story here.

What is

?
What is Dream Catcher?
Every summer on Andros, a free fly fishing camp puts local kids on the flats where their fathers and grandfathers fished.
Last year the camp had seventy kids attend. The camp is free, run by locals who love the place. The one thing it needs is gear.

Dream Catcher is Drifter Fish Club's first philanthropy. We're raising 100 rod-and-reel setups and hand-delivering them in June 2027, so 100 kids each leave with gear of their own.

FAQ
What gear do you need?
Fly rods and reels in good, fishable shape, ideally 5 to 9 weight. Full setups (rod, reel, and line) help the most, but we can add backing and line to reels if needed.
Can I give money instead?
Yes. Use the PayPal button above. Every dollar goes to helping get rods and reels to the kids.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
No. Drifter Fish Club isn't a 501(c)(3), so donations aren't tax-deductible.
How will I know the gear got there?
We'll share the delivery trip next June on @drifterfishclub and in the Drifter newsletter.
How do I donate gear?
Drop it off at a participating fly shop or Drifter event, or mail it to us. For shipping instructions, email hunter@drifterfishclub.com
What is the money used for?
Rods, reels, and line to complete setups, fly tying supplies for the camp, and getting it all to Andros.
Who runs the camp?
Wellie's Fly-Fishing Camp is a free summer camp on Andros, run by locals who love the place and want kids out on the water. Follow the camp on Facebook.
How will I know the gear got there?
Can my shop or business get involved?
Yes. Host a collection bin or event, or sponsor a batch of setups. Email hunter@drifterfishclub.com
