Chip Leavine

I am a Florida native that originates from the Tampa Bay Area. I grew up on a lake and spent more time than I should fishing and hunting. I started a traditional law enforcement career in 1981 with a sheriff’s office. In 1987, I shifted my focus to conservation law enforcement and became a game warden with Florida Fish and Game, which later became Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Agency(FWC). I retired from FWC in 2014 with 33 years of duty at the age of 52. I then started a charter business in the panhandle of Florida. I have a better half of 33 years. In addition to our time on the Gulf of Mexico, we have an airstream we travel in for 3-4 months of the year. I love both spinning and fly fishing.
